Goliath Gaming places 2nd at Legion Africa Cup

The Legion Africa Cup, by Power League Gaming and Lenovo, was a massive tournament for CS:GO esports squads from Africa to participate in. Showcasing top teams from the region, and some great production value, the Legion Africa Cup delivered. Here are the final standings from the tournament.

The Legion Africa Cup saw teams compete for their share of the $20,000 prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s just over R300,000. Teams from South Africa, Nigeria and Kenya competed in their tournament, and we are proud to say that local esports team Goliath Gaming managed to take second place.

During the play-offs stage, Goliath Gaming beat down ATK Academy with a clean 2-0 victory. On the other side of the bracket, NASR Esports defeated 15AVGGANG 2-0, setting up the best-of-five grand finals.
